The team was founded in 1963 by Baruch Hefetz, Avraham Pascal, who serves as chairman of the association to this day, and was later joined by Israel Vids, who serves as the president of the club and managed the association and the Israel women's national team for many years, when Eldad Hefetz, Baruch's son, is active in the association as a coach and manager. The group was established in order to perpetuate the names and memory of the six martyrs of the "Cedar Company" from the Samson Fox Regiment who fought and fell in battle in the War of Liberation.

The women's team won the state championship for the first time in the 1967/1968 season and 3 consecutive seasons after that, in 1977/1978, and in the 1979/1980 season and 6 times in a row after that until 1985/1986, a total of 12 championships, with 6 of them also winning the state cup for women's handball and completing 6 doubles.

In the 2016/2017 season, she qualified for the final of the State Cup and the playoff final in the first league, but lost both to the girls of Herzliya. In the 2017/2018 season, the team won the championship and the state cup and completed the seventh double in history, after 31 seasons in which they did not win the title. In the 2018/2019 

season, the team won the 14th championship.


In total, the women's team with 15 championships and 10 state cup wins throughout history. In the last two years, she reached the round of 16 of the Women's European Cup. She finished last season as the runner-up and reached the final of the state cup
