About

Maccabi Kiryat Motzkin basketball club, founded in 1955, has been managed by the Association for the Promotion of Sports in Kiryat Motzkin since 2016. In January 2022, the senior team was integrated into the association's management and now competes in the national league.

The club is home to approximately 650 players, including an alumni team, a women's team, and 19 other teams of boys and girls across various leagues. The club also runs a basketball program in every elementary school in the city, starting from the first grade, with a special group for preschoolers.

Each season, the club participates in about 500 games, primarily in the Haifa, Kiryat, North, and Sharon areas. The players benefit from comprehensive training, including gym sessions, a physical ability trainer, physiotherapy services, and specialized programs for teenagers.
